FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Swiss Bliss different?
Our foam cores are designed, poured and fabricated in Switzerland. As of our start date, we are the only mattress company in the United States offering a double sided “Specialty Foam” mattress. There are no fillers, there is no base foam. It is a 100% specialty foam mattress core. We are The Original Swiss Made Mattress.
What is “Base” or “Support Foam”?
Whenever you see the term “Base” or “Support Foam” used by a mattress company they are referring to the least expensive (read cheap) foam that they can buy. It is typically a very firm foam and does nothing more than lift up the “Specialty Foam” that you are sleeping on. Please take note that Swiss Bliss Mattress Co does not use any “Base” or “Support” foam in our mattress. Every layer in the design is there on purpose and to increase your level of comfort and support.

How often should I flip my Mattress?
There are no limits or conditions on flipping your new Swiss Bliss Mattress. That being said, the more you flip your mattress, the happier you will be with the long term performance of your new mattress. We recommend flipping once a month for the first year but we have heard stories of customers flipping much more often than that based on their specific needs and use.
What do I put my new mattress on top of?
What a great question. We suggest using a new wooden foundation, a new box spring or a solid surface platform bed. The support that you use under your new Swiss Bliss Mattress will be key to its long term performance. If you put your new Swiss Bliss Mattress on your old and worn box spring then you will be ruining your new mattress and voiding your warranty. PLEASE don’t do that 🙂 A bad foundation is the #1 cause for memory foam mattresses not performing to their full potential. A bad foundation will negatively affect the mattress’s level of comfort and durability. If you can press the foundation down with your hand, it is not sturdy enough. If it is nice and sturdy, but has spacing on the top surface wider than 5 inches, you can use a piece of 3/8 inch plywood on top of your box springs to cover the gaps.
What happens if I just don’t like it?
Well, we hope that doesn’t happen, but if so, we have a quick and easy return policy.

Where is my new mattress made?
The foam core, which is the primary component, is designed, poured and fabricated in Switzerland to the highest technical specifications using the precision manufacturing that the Swiss are known for. It then takes a 4 week luxury cruise to Charleston, South Carolina and then on to our facility in Tennessee. Once at our facility, it rests and waits for an order to come in. It is covered by us in the finest zippered cover available and then bagged, compressed, rolled and boxed the same day that it is shipped out to you. Unlike some other online vendors, we do not compress and box our mattress only to let it sit in a warehouse for days or weeks (or maybe even longer) until shipped out to your home.
How does the mattress feel?
Swiss Bliss is precisely engineered to provide the comfort that you want along with the support that you need. After extensive research, the swiss engineers have strategically placed each section and layer of foam to work with your body to relieve pressure points and maximize comfort. On a standard scale of 1-10, with 1 being super soft and 10 being super firm Swiss bliss would be rated at a 7.5.
